I have been an Educator with Jemma’s since its beginning in 2000 so have had the privilege to be a part of many children’s learning journey in my home-based environment. I have a Level 4 Certificate in Early Childhood Education and I am currently raising my granddaughter. We both share a love of the outdoors and enjoy camping, bush walks and waterhole swims in the summer. I love encouraging tamarki to explore the outdoors and we have great fun hunting for snails. worms. bugs and flowers in our backyard. When fejoas are in season we enjoy collecting them for our families to try.

I love being able to help families and tamariki connect to the community, with weekly playgroups, outings on the train to the local parks and walks and an emphasis on outdoor adventures such as water and messy play.

I provide a safe space for play, consistent routines and encouraging independence and life skills, with the aim of helping whanau transition their children for what follows later in their learning journey. It also keeps me learning new ideas from the different cultural backgrounds that I encounter with each new child.

Days of Week Available:

Monday to Friday.
