Kia ora,

My name is Amber and I have decided to embark on the journey of Homebase care after many years of working in preschools. I graduated from Toi Oho Mai which was formally known as Waiariki institute of Technology which is the Rotorua Polytech back in 2014. I have a wealth of knowledge and a true understanding about children’s development which allows me to connect and deconstruct children’s learning easily.

We have be residing in Coromandel for a short period of time but I already feel at home with how welcoming the community has been to my family and I. We choose to move to Coromandel to reconnect with our families who already lived here. I have beautiful young daughter, who attends Hamilton Girls High School and she is  boarding in the Sonningham Hostel. My partner works full time and is hardly around but both him and I have great appreciation for the outdoors. We have a semi rural property which has chickens, dogs and sheep which provides an enriching learning environment for children. I am very active and enjoy being out in the community, going for walks and being near the water.

I will provide children with free morning and afternoon tea and nappies while they are in my care.
