Meet Our Educators

Megan

Thames, Thames / Hauraki

Hi, my name is Megan and I have over 13 years of experience in childcare and a bachelor’s in early childhood education. I live in Thames Tararu where I offer home based services.

I have three gorgeous children of my own, all at primary school now, as well as an adorable Jack Russell called Spot.

As part of our weekly curriculum, we are busy out and about in the mornings as we attend many community events such as Playcentre, Tumble Tots and library time.

My home is a combination of peace and crazy! Full of laughter and joy. I have a large outdoor area, plenty of concrete to hoon about on our many scooters, balance bikes and mini vehicles, a small fenced off swimming pool that goes up over the summer months, a gorgeous playhouse and a shady deck for summer days that are too hot.

I believe children learn through play and set many activities throughout the day from arts and crafts to messy paintings, play dough, dress ups, water play, gardening, blocks and Lego, threading, plenty of story time and much more.

I believe in nurturing every child to help them flourish. I love the many benefits home based care has to offer and proud to be a part of the JeMMa’s team where I can offer the children the devotion and time to help them truly flourish.
