Tokoroa

Ki Ora!
Ko Andrea tōku ingoa
Nō Tokoroa ahau

I have just returned to Jemmas after taking some time out to up skill. Prior to this I had three wonderful years with many children receiving education and care.

I believe in children directing their own learning. I support this with a variety of activities to learn, by working alongside and with good communication to enhance their educational, care needs, and interests.

Sue
Cambridge

Hi my name is Sue Sittauer and I live in Cambridge.  I have two sons who have both grown up to be well adjusted caring young men and are now both in the police force.  I am at the stage of my life where I am ready to take a more rewarding role.  I love spending time with children and love watching them learn and grow.

I have a quiet and calm nature which is reflected in my home environment.  Children have the opportunity to grow and learn at their own pace, within an environment that is warm and nurturing.  I have a passion for arts and crafts, music, puzzles, books, outdoor activities and exploring nature.  We like to explore the wider community with regular walks to the park/playground and attend local music groups.  I have a love for animals and in my spare time I help out at Riding for Disables in Cambridge.

Te Awamutu

Hi, my name is Elise, I am 26 years old and I live with my Husband Josh and my one year old daughter Addalyn here in Te Awamutu, Waikato. We have recently moved here from Hamilton having been with extended family and now it’s just us in our cosy home enjoying the new scenery and beautiful quiet lifestyle that Te Awamutu has to offer. While dads away at work during the day, Addy and I are hanging out together keeping busy and getting up to all sorts of stuff. I love spending time with her watching her grow and discover the world and its little adventures. That’s why I would love for others to come share our company and live and learn each day with us.

Our Educarers are recruited using a very strong selection process

We take the safety of your child very seriously.  Each and every one of our Educarers is thoroughly checked using our recruitment vetting system.  Part of this system requires all Educarers to have a squeaky clean police record and a full medical assessment.
Further to this, Co-ordinators (who are all fully qualified and registered early childhood teachers) complete a full assessment of every property to ensure that it meets Ministry of Education safety requirements.
