My name is Adele and I have been a JeMMa’s home based Educarer for the past four years. I live with my husband and two daughters aged seven and five. My career with children began with training as an early childhood teacher. Since then I have taught in early childhood centres, been a nursery class teacher within a primary school in the U.K. and spent time as a nanny.
Home-based care provides a small, safe and caring family environment for children to learn and have fun. As an Educarer, I get to develop lovely relationships with each child and their families. My own children have both enjoyed and benefited from having children in home. We have a very safe property with space for children to play indoors and out, with a variety of toys, books, puzzles, games and activities to choose from. The children enjoy experiences such as art and craft, messy play, water play, baking, dressing up and role play, music and dancing, story times and outdoor activities. They also enjoy spending time with our two guinea pigs. We have outings to the library, local parks and playgrounds, playgroup, and local school/community happenings and celebrations. If your baby, toddler or pre-schooler would benefit from a balance of indoor, outdoor learning and fun then call JeMMa’s to organise a time to come and visit me in my home 0800 JEMMAS. |
