Rosie

I am the mother of three adult children and grandmother two beautiful grandchildren.Rosie and Riley (1)-363 Being a mother is most precious to me and I equally love caring for other people’s children.
I see magic and wonder in the world by seeing it through the eyes of a child. As a teacher in childcare centres I had wonderful relationships with the children-every morning they
would rush up for cuddles or seek me out to read a book
quietly or join in imaginary play outside. For your wee poppet I can provide a nurturing, safe, fun and challenging learning environment especially catering to your child’s needs: from gardening to books, art to baking, conversation and songs in both Te Reo and English, imaginary play to messy play, science to maths, outings by bus and nature walks in our neighbourhood, building on the interests of your own child to encourage milestones in learning, language, physical growth, and curiosity. I will connect with you over the internet with photos so you can see what we are up to during the day. I will treasure our days together by keeping a learning journal of photos, videos and stories plus using online tools so you can comment too.

Please come and see my lovely learning and care space in the warmth of my new home in the Lakes.

My favourite quote from Albert Einstein “Play is the highest form of Research.”

Our Educarers are recruited using a very strong selection process

We take the safety of your child very seriously.  Each and every one of our Educarers is thoroughly checked using our recruitment vetting system.  Part of this system requires all Educarers to have a squeaky clean police record and a full medical assessment.
Further to this, Co-ordinators (who are all fully qualified and registered early childhood teachers) complete a full assessment of every property to ensure that it meets Ministry of Education safety requirements.
