Reena

My name is Reena Devi. I am originally from Fiji. I have been in New Zealand for the last eight years. I live in Margan Avenue, New Lynn. I have 30 years of experience in looking after children.

I live very close to New Lynn Primary School, Bunnings, local library, opposite to New Lynn Seventh Day Adventist Church, walking distance from Lynn Mall, children’s park and next to Manawa Water land Reserve Park.

Being very close to the reserve I am able to provide the opportunity to the tamariki to develop an appreciation, respect and enjoyment of the natural environment. I enjoy providing other opportunities to the tamariki to further develop their learning dispositions such as being creative through playdough, painting, reading, music, outdoor play and so on.   We enjoy going to the mall so that children are able to relate to the real world. We also go to the park often to further develop the children’s confidence by swinging, going up and down the slides, through the tunnels and having so much fun.  Local library is not far for the children to engage in interactive stories, songs and movement. Pretend play, singing, dancing, drawing, reading, collage, water, messy play, and blowing bubbles to be chased and caught – inspire, children’s meaningful interests and abilities, social and communication skills.

I adore children so give me a call on 0800 536627 to arrange a suitable time to meet me.

Our Educarers are recruited using a very strong selection process

We take the safety of your child very seriously.  Each and every one of our Educarers is thoroughly checked using our recruitment vetting system.  Part of this system requires all Educarers to have a squeaky clean police record and a full medical assessment.
Further to this, Co-ordinators (who are all fully qualified and registered early childhood teachers) complete a full assessment of every property to ensure that it meets Ministry of Education safety requirements.
